Serendipity

I made a new friend last night at a gathering I attend along with four to six other friends each week. We meet up to play board games, usually on Wednesdays or Thursdays each week. It was so exciting to meet her. She managed the team at Microsoft that released the first version of MSN Messenger. She worked at Microsoft for over nine years and both the words of encouragement she shared with me as well as her insights were just awesome! It is so neat to have the opportunity to connect with people in a community that get so excited about their work and have such encouraging and kind things to share.
