The Beginning

It's Friday the thirteenth. I should be working on my pre-work, coding assignments that I was given to work on before starting school on August 1. I have just over 1,200 points of work completed on my teamtreehouse.com account. teamtreehouse.com is the website on which we are supposed to complete our pre-work. I will need to complete 10,000 points before starting class. 2,000 points are required but 10,000 points are highly recommended. I so deeply want to be the best programmer that I can be. I want to help make wonderful and exciting digital tools for people to use. I was so happy when I received the email which told me that I was ACCEPTED. I have wanted to be a software developer my entire life. I can remember being a young teenager working on my computer in Microsoft PowerPoint. I would create presentations which would simulate some of my ideas for GUI (Graphical User Interface) designs. So when Origin Code Academy, a coding bootcamp in downtown San Diego with buzz on all of the major local news networks, accepted me as a student I was beside myself. As for goals, I think I would like to try to reach at least 2,000 points on teamtreehouse.com by next Friday.
